And she’s back! It seems like just a few weeks ago that I was in Palm Beach – probably because it was only a month since my last visit. I love the beach and the warm weather – so when my friend Alvin Valley asked me to host his trunk show on my birthday weekend – I thought why not!
Mixing business and pleasure is always my pleasure. After celebrating my birthday beachside in a bikini on Friday, Alvin and I met chic Florida shoppers on Saturday. Later, I took advantage of our proximity to Antique Row to do some shopping. I bought myself some antique medallions (happy birthday to me!) and visited Maison Bleu with its lovely frescoed walls and painted floors. Among some items on offer were a sterling silver serving cart for $45,000 – unfortunately a server comes separately, beautiful mirrors and one of a kind furnishings.
Some of my other Palm Beach necessities include Ta-boo for the best Greek salad, Eye of the Needle to buy cute dresses for my girls, the shoe department at Neiman Marcus, steak and tuna tartare at Meat Market, the original Stubbs and Wooton store, and finally The Everglades Club.
