NOLA: It’s college tour time for Sea! And what better way to go on a college tour and celebrate the New Orleans area at the same time. We dropped our bags at the gorgeous Loews Hotel and headed straight to Dragos for char- grilled oysters and our first time eating alligator. Other food haunts were Cochon in the warehouse district for more alligator in a spicy creamy sauce.
Tableau french quarter for truffle crab. Chicory and Beignets at Cafe Dumont, and Pat O’Brien’s for a hurricane and jazz.
I had to see my great friend and artist, Ashley Longshore‘s studio. I can’t wait to see her collaborations for holiday. Architect/Interiors Michael Carbine’s Mac Maison has the most beautiful French antiques I’ve ever seen in my life. And Beth Claybore Antiques has the most delicious pillows and chandelier reproductions that I cant stop dreaming about.
Hotel go tos are: Loews, Soniat House, and The Windsor Court.
I went on a jewelry hunt and came across Magpie for the most incredible vintage Victorian jewelry
And for my coffee fix, head to PJ’s and CC’s for coffee mochassissippi’s.
