Whether it was Miley Cyrus dancing in jean shorts at Loren Ridinger’s of Market America house, LuAnn de Lesseps’ daughters (Victoria) first art showing, or Lola Schnabel’sinstallation at the Shore Club, Basel was in full bloom. My favorite shows were Untitled and Akidcoulddothat curated by music producer Nelle Hooper. It was an amazing and inspiring.
Could this weekend foreshadow a new project?
At #NYFW, it is often hard to synthesize all the fashion. At the shows, there are always looks that will leave you breathless, and then to the contrary, looks that are best left on the runway. Tons of designers, models, and looks can all add up to a pretty mess of a mathematical fashion equation. For my mid-week #NYFW round-up, I have taken into consideration; wearability, versatility; and creativity. 5 designers, 5 models, 5 looks….
