To quote my first novel, A Dangerous Age, “September went off like a loaded gun…” What better to kick off the Fall than #NYFW? This year the bloggers were seen on the scene and the parties were BIG. To kick off the most fashionable week of the year, I headed over to the new Cartier mansion to check out some new and vintage goodies. #newhousegoals Next was the launch of the new Lou & Grey store with my friend, Beth Stern. We did a literal catwalk with kittens in tow! Serena Williams for HSN had a front row packed with Ciara, and LaLa Anthony. Alexander Wang pulled out his trump card with Madonna while I was flanked by my squad: Teddy and Sea Bensimon! #squadgoals We even managed to squeeze in a Jets game on Sunday. Apparently, red suede sky-high Manolo Blahnik’s accessorize perfectly with my new Jets hat! I was also able to lend support to Foodbank4NYC with Barilla, who has been handing out over 500,000 bags of pasta and their new pasta sauce. That’s how KKB rolls! Fashion, Fun, Food, and Football. Now, lets talk serious FASHION! I wore a lot of black this season from a Jill Stuart slip dress to an Elizabeth & James feathered cocktail dress, and even my love’s Tracy Feith and WarmNY collaboration patterned dress with black lace trim. Velvet is big for me this Fall and I love the allure of a keyhole 3×1 dress, I even stepped out of my comfort zone with a pajama top from MorganLane! Thank you Dennis Basso, Zac Posen, Timo Weiland, Serena Williams, Son Jung Wan, and Jill Stuart for your major inspirations for Spring 2017. I’m ready for SUMMER! Oops… I mean Fall!
