I can’t wait for Spring – the end of snow, strolls through Central Park as the flowers bloom, spending time with my horse out on Long Island. It’s the season of rebirth, both for nature and your wardrobe. This Spring I’m investing in classic black and white staples which transition seamlessly between seasons, are chic enough for any occasion and timeless enough to outlast any passing trend.
Goen J. Black and White Stripe Top, Helmut Lang Cropped Pants
One of my favorite pieces for Spring is the poncho. You might have a heavier version for fall and winter, but this spring version with fringe I’m wearing is lighter and a perfect transition piece. You dress up a basic jeans and tank top outfit instantly and wear it as a coverup on the beach for extra mileage.

I also love all-white looks for Spring – you can make it flirty and feminine like in this Goen J. outfit featuring a lace top and ruffle skirt. It’s a pristine palette on which to play with colorful accessories.

How chic are matched separates? This top and shorts give the illusion of a romper, but they both work on their own. Wear just the top with white pants for a chic evening cocktail party or just pair a tank top with the shorts for a casual running around town daytime look.
O’nd multi-stripe top and shorts
Obsessed with this Iro drop sleeved vest with its deconstructed edges. It’s super cool and easy.

Another effortless spring favorite that we saw first arrive as a trend a couple years ago are the pajamas pants. You don’t have to be a sleep walker to pull off this bedtime look. Pair your PJs with heels and a non-negligée blouse for a dreamy daytime look.
