Thank you Cheddar TV for having Holly Parker and I featured this week (https://cheddar.com/media/heres-what-rhony-star-kelly-bensimon-says-about-taking-her-real-estate-career-to-reality-tv). It was a particularly proud moment for me, since I just started with Holly’s team and we are already out in the market with Michael Passaro (residential) and Marc Roman (Commerical), and doing deals in New York City.
There were two big takeaways from the CHEDDARTV segment that I really wanted to highlight.
Holly Parker spoke of community. This is a word, I don’t see as synonymous with New York City, but it is becoming that way. New developments are making it easier and attacking buyers who want to play simulated golf during the week, workout in a high tech gym, play with their children in a sun-drenched playroom, learn how to drink different wines, and even relax in a common area. New Yorkers are “citibiking’ to work, living closer to work, and craving that community that Holly spoke to. We all want to spend our time wisely- new developments are offering more than four walls- they are creating experiences.
Another takeaway from the segment that I really appreciated was the concept of creating personal wealth. I’ve heard Holly speak to this many times, and I’m incredibly impressed at how she can address people’s needs: how much money they have, how much money they’d like to make, and how much money they need to pay off student loans/ credit card bills. Real estate is low hanging fruit if you want to create wealth. We are seeing “rent to buy,’ we have low-interest rates, and it’s a BUYERS market, which means there is a lot of inventory for great prices.
Just a couple of HOLLY PARKER highlights for you: She was #2Team Nationwide at Elliman 2018, she has well over $7billion in sales. Her list of accolades is pages long. Holly Parker said it best herself, “ What could be more rewarding than helping buyers find their dream homes or sellers maximize their investments?”
On that note, let’s get started.
