It’s the holidays and I’m always ready to decorate and give to my friends and family. Our traditions are decorate the tree with the girls and Fluff, make cookies for Santa, and look for that special gift that my nieces and nephews, god children, and dad will LOVE. Sea and Teddy send me their lists which I’ve always kept (yes, I’m a memory hoarder), and even Fluff has a few wishes this year. Woof! We always volunteer at the Foodbank4NYC pantry and kitchen, and show off our best smiles and hairnets, and we always see the Christmas Spectacular with the gorgeous Rockettes. ‘Tis the season to be jolly, extra loving, and grateful that we have so much love to give and receive. Get really decked with Bobbi Brown’s new eyeshadow ‘Pink Gold’ and have amazing office parties. For gifting, go that extra mile for those whom you love. It’s not the gift, even though my marketplace on kellykbensimon.com is packed with amazing gifts for that chef in your home, or home decor nut like me! It’s the time and effort you put in to show those love how much you care. Write a love letter (I love to write those), create a song, make a iPhoto book, take that someone on a special walk on the Highline, create a Spotify list, create a memory book like in the movie UP, send 100 balloons, paint them a painting, buy bulk candy on line and sweeten them up, just think outside of the box and show those how much you love them.
